Education at Calvary Classical Academy is active! Children possess ideas, thoughts and lived experiences that make them who they are. Active, cooperative learning engages children in an environment that encourages and cultivates growth. At CCA, teachers engage students in active learning by promoting curiosity and the discipline of inquiry, in an atmosphere framed by God’s Word.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Romans 12:2

“...casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”

2 Corinthians 10:15

Jesus Christ is the focus and foundation for all we do at Calvary Classical Academy. It is in Him and through Him that we have our life and being. As he is fully God, Jesus is our authority for what is true and what is right. Therefore, in every learning endeavor, in every aspect of our lives, we seek to proclaim His goodness. At our core we are disciples of Jesus Christ, pursuing Him through the discipleship of the children who call CCA home. We strive to carry out the Great Commission through Classical Education.

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

Luke 9:23

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

Matthew 28: 18-20

At Calvary Classical Academy we strive for Christ-like greatness. We train our character. We pursue excellence in learning. We believe that true greatness is defined through the teachings and example of Jesus. Greatness is not discovered in the mere development or display of our talents, but through selfless service to others. CCA exists to teach and train young men and women to give our utmost for eternal greatness.

“But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.”

Matthew 23:11

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Mark 10:45
